Nobody wants to burn a rare gold on a player who already got it two minutes earlier. Still, don't rely on requests alone. Friends miss notifications. Some are out of trades. Some just aren't online. A quick message usually works better.
Plan before the timer startsThe smartest players don't wait until the event is halfway over. They check what they need, what they can offer, and where the active traders are hanging out. Discord servers, Reddit threads, and Facebook groups can get messy, but they're also where deals happen fastest.
